Beryl Street Tweed Heads

Scott Miner has recently obtained DA approval for a 5 storey mixed-use building in Beryl Street, Tweed Heads NSW. The building consists of residential apartments, holiday apartments and rental accommodation above a ground floor commercial office and car parking area.

The challenge for this site was to meet council's expectations for a substantial development in the core of the Tweed Heads central business district whilst designing a building that would respectfully fit amongst some much lower density residential and mixed-use buildings.

The proposed residences are set back behind a contemporary urban facade which seeks to respond to both existing neighbouring buildings but also to the desired future urban character of the precinct. The site's close proximity to transport, shopping and the famous Coolangatta Beach has made this project an exciting development to coordinate.

Construction documents are being prepared now with expectations of works proceeding soon.
