King Street Newtown

Working for Ray Fitz-Gibbon & Associates, Scott Miner was responsible for the concept planning, design and documentation for this Mixed-Use Development on King Street Newtown. The building consists of two commercial premises, 11 Apartments and Basement Car Parking. The grade of the site and the rear laneway access required a split level building in order to maximize the building height and apartment yield. In order to achieve light and ventilation to all bedrooms, a central landscaped courtyard was conceived on either side of the stair and lift circulation.
