Located in Lavington NSW, near the NSW/VIC border, this Childcare Centre was designed to take full advantage of its large residential lot size and its street corner position. The Single Storey Childcare Centre is broken into two pavilions, each comprising pitched metal main roofs and side verandas. The building opens up to Douglas Road on the North Side of the site. Car parking is located to the rear with a new driveway and pedestrian entry from Parnall Street. While electing for a single storey design and at-grade car parking, a total capacity of 60 children has been achieved. Albury City Council approved the DA in early 2025 and I hope to see this project under construction shortly.
